ZUGSPITZ REGION AND ZUGSPITZLAND

The Zugspitz Region GmbH is one of our long-standing customers.

We assist the customer in online communication with image campaigns and pursue the goal of creating an awareness for this unique destination brand. We use topics such as the Spitzenwanderweg hiking trail, the water world and hiking along water, cycling and regionality to draw the online users’ attention to the varied programme offered by the Zugspitz region and the ZugspitzLand area.

As a pioneer in practical implementation, the Zugspitz region does not want to promote mass tourism, but rather wants to appeal to those guests who advocate the values of the destination, who appreciate the diversity of nature and also want to preserve it under the aspect of sustainable tourism.

In close coordination with our customer, we have tried to provide a tailored target group with relevant messages from the inspiration phase through the engagement phase to retargeting. The online channels of YouTube, the social media, SEA and special interest portals were used. 

The success of the campaign was demonstrated by excellent click rates, long dwell times and a low bounce rate on the website, high interaction rates in social media and a terrific increase in followers on Instagram within a short period of time.

This could be pushed through an organic hashtag campaign #hier gehtsmirguad or #hier gehtsunsguad - which was based on the idea of introducing businesses, craftsmen and producers based in the Zugspitz region and letting them tell why they feel at home in their homeland.

A fantastic campaign that we are happy to continue this year with great pleasure.
